Petco and Instacart Add Additional Markets, Now Offering One-Hour Delivery in 14 Cities

We are expanding our partnership with Petco today! Beginning today, customers in 14 metro areas served by Instacart can order from Petco stores and have everything delivered in as quickly as one hour.

Customers in the following cities can order from Petco: Atlanta, Austin, Boulder, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Portland (OR), San Francisco, San Jose, Seattle and Washington, DC. Petco delivery will be coming to NYC later this summer.

Selection is always important to us, and this partnership is no different! From dog treats to toys, our customers can choose from 11,000+ Petco and Unleashed by Petco products!

From Yummly, you can seamlessly connect to the Instacart app and purchase all of the ingredients from the Yummly recipe of your choice and select a delivery time. A trained Instacart Personal Shopper does the shopping from your favorite local stores, selecting the freshest ingredients, and brings the groceries to your door just in time for dinner.

We’ve Partnered With Green Zebra in Portland, OR!

We’ve partnered with Green Zebra to deliver fresh groceries and delicious deli foods in Portland, OR. Green Zebra is turning the traditional convenience store on its head by offering a selection of local and fresh products from sustainably raised seafood and meat to micro-roasted coffee and kombucha made with love in Portland.

Customers will also be able to order Green Zebra’s prepared meals including scratch-made sandwiches, salads and chicken parmesan. This is the first time that Green Zebra has offered its customers delivery. Enjoy!

Instacart Launches in Portland with a Free Month of Deliveries!

Instacart has arrived in the Rose City! We are so excited to be Portland’s first one-hour grocery delivery service.

Beginning today, customers in Portland can order groceries from Whole Foods Market, Costco, and Uwajimaya Asian Market stores and have them delivered in as little as one hour. Customers do not need to be a Costco member to order from Costco on Instacart. Additional local stores will be added in the coming weeks, and customers can combine items from multiple stores into one order.

To start, we will serve the areas of Portland Proper plus Beaverton. Specific neighborhoods include: Pearl District, Downtown, Goose Hollow, Alberta, Mississippi, Hollywood, Belmont, Hawthorne, Laurelhurst, Overlook, Aloha, and Beaverton. “Portland is a young, vibrant city with a tech savvy culture,” said Portland City Launcher Bill Babeaux. “Portland also had the highest number of user requests per capita of major U.S. cities currently not served by Instacart, so we knew people wanted the service here. We’re excited to bring the city its first one-hour grocery delivery service and help residents enjoy the beautiful summer weather instead of waiting in line at the grocery store.”

Customers who order on launch day will receive a free month of deliveries via Instacart Express.
